HR Manager you will be responsible for the plant in Venlo, part of the Wire and Cable Division EMEA, with approximately 100 employees.Directs the recruiting and staffing of functions to assure that manpower objectives and action plan goals will be achieved. Administers employee engagement process in the plant.Conducts training and identifies programs that will upgrade skills of managers, supervisors and employees. Monitors human resources climate at Belden and advises/counsels managers on human resources issues. Addresses issues at developments in the labor market and labor laws. Negotiates with with works council. Initiates the development of and reviews personnel policies, procedures, programs and conditions of employment. (Let) work them out in guidelines for employment conditions and guidelines for managers. Maintains the systems (performance review, salary and promotion systems) to support the employment conditions policy and also watches the correct utilization.Interprets and translates CLA-agreements into policies, procedures, etc. and incorporates them in the guidelines.Assures the validity of the policies and procedures in the guidelines. Addresses wanted changes and bottlenecks in the organization (structure) and creates conditions for innovation and organizational changes.Assures an effective process support with organizational changing processes.Provides guidance to managers, supervisors and employees in all matters relating to personnel including performance issues, payment, career counseling, staffing levels, personal issues, etc.. Maintains contacts with external authorities and relations and also streamlines the in and external information within the company and towards social partners.
